"Through the development of rural, self-reliant, hunger and poverty-free prosperous Bangladesh"

BRDB's mission

To ensure the maximum use of existing human and material resources in the rural areas of the country through two-level cooperative approach.
Creating human infrastructure, through a co-operative society / group of people of the rural areas, is well-organized and well-organized.
Creating employment in the rural sector through credit flow to agriculture and non-agricultural activities.
Accumulation / mobilization of rural areas resources through deposits of savings and shares.
Develop human resources through demand training and incentives.
Ensure planning and public participation at the local level.
Converting women to development activities and empowerment.

Upazila level (Upazila Rural Development Officer's Office)
Co-operation in the development of poverty and poverty alleviation in rural areas.
Implementation of all the projects / programs implemented in the upazila in the goal of socio-economic development of beneficiary members.
Encourage the members to build their own capital through small deposits aimed at achieving self-sufficiency of the poor.
To facilitate the development of productive and income generating activities, to arrange loans, distribution and collection of activities.
Arrangement of micro credit to formal association and informal group of the people of ganapurbak
Make demand based training for the benefit of the beneficiary members for their social development and efficiency.
To ensure the uninterrupted development of the affected people, implement all the activities extending upazila and supervise it properly.
Inter-departmental coordination aimed at benefiting beneficiary members from other National departments.
To increase the production of agricultural inputs, for the development of irrigation machinery management and environment, there will be a large number of expansive activities including plantation, sanitation.
Forming own capital through collection of shares and savings deposits of members.
Provide loans to the members of the Association on simple terms (fertilizer, seeds, pesticides and irrigation equipment) for agricultural implements.
To facilitate marketing of grains produced by co-workers and to get fair prices.
Raising consciousness for women empowerment and women leadership development, prevention of women and awareness of dowry practices


Take initiative to create
Advice on members of the elderly, health, nutrition and family planning etc.
Advice and cooperation to increase awareness about plantation and sanitation.
Providing a loan for non-repatriated freedom fighters and their dependents for the purpose of creating self-employment.


Cooperation in the socio-economic development of the rural poor and the development of rural leadership and the poor people in the country's economic development.
Removal of complaints against any officer / employee of this office, if the complaint is made to the Rural Development Officer.
